Public Works

The City of Gregory Public Works Department is responsible for maintenance and operation of the street, airport and park departments. The department is staffed by three full-time employees consisting of the Public Works/Water Supt., and two street dept. employees. Additionally, seasonal employees are hired for the summer months to maintain the city parks.

Over 17 miles of streets are maintained, which include snow removal, street resealing and pothole repair. The public works department also maintains the city parks and ball fields.

The City of Gregory also operates a tree dump site located 1.5 miles south of Gregory and is currently open seven days a week. Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The site is monitored for illegal dumping of materials.
