Gregory Council Accepts 12-Acre Land Gift With Five-Year Aquatic Center Condition

The Gregory City Council discussed a proposal from Avera McKennan to gift 12 acres of land where the former hospital nursing home were located. The gift comes with a requirement that the city use the land to build an aquatic recreation center within five years. If the city does not proceed with the aquatic center, they can return the land to Avera McKennan without penalty.
