Notice of Call for Bids - City of Gregory Street Seal Coating

Notice is hereby given that the City of Gregory, SD will be receiving sealed bids at the office of the City Finance Officer up to the hour of 5:00 p.m. on May 22, 2026. For the chip sealing of approximately 18,400 square yards of asphalt streets within the Gregory, SD city limits. 2P oil applied at the rate of .30 gallons per square yard and the City of Gregory will supply rock chips. The bid shall be for a dollar amount per square yard. The sealcoating work is to be done by September 15, 2026.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, draft or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, as a guarantee that such bidder will enter a contract to do the actual work.

Bids to be in a sealed envelope and marked ‘seal coat work.’ The bids shall be mailed or delivered to the Gregory City Finance Office, PO Box 436, Gregory, SD 57533, (605 )835-8270 Ext# 3. The City of Gregory City Council members reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
