Request for Qualifications - Airport Engineering Services

The City of Gregory, South Dakota, will accept Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified engineering firms for engineering services for proposed development at the Gregory Municipal Airport, Gregory, South Dakota. SOQ’s will be accepted until May 1, 2026, and are submitted to: City of Gregory PO Box 436 Gregory, South Dakota 57533. Please submit 3 copies for the selection committee.

Engineering Services for the following projects listed on the CIP for the period of years from 2026 through 2030 with a maximum of five years.

CIPs:

2027 – Reseal/Resurface Runway Pavement (crack repair, seal coat)

2027 - Reseal/Resurface Apron Pavement (crack repair, seal coat)

2027 - Reseal/Resurface Taxiway Pavement (crack repair, seal coat)

 

2028 - Install Weather Reporting Equipment (New AWOS)

2029 - Install Weather Reporting Equipment (New AWOS)

 

2030 – Extend/Expand Taxiway

2030 – Rehabilitate Apron (mill & overlay, extend useful life)

 

Statements of Qualifications shall set forth the qualifications to accomplish engineering services for the years 2026-2030 at Gregory Municipal Airport. Firms shall demonstrate their qualifications by addressing the questions contained in the “Consultant Selection Criteria.” Copies of the “Consultant Selection Criteria” for this airport project can be obtained at City Hall in Gregory, South Dakota.

The selected firm is encouraged to obtain DBE engineering services or provide “Good Faith Effort” for this project.

Upon receipt of Statement of Qualifications, the City of Gregory shall select the  most qualified firm to perform the anticipated work. Selection will be performed in accordance with FAA Advisory Circular 150/5100-14E. Anticipated fees shall not be included in the SOQ, and each project will be negotiated with the selected firm following the selection period.
