⏰📅City of Gregory Curbside Cleanup DEADLINE

When:

The City of Gregory will provide free pickup of certain items for city residents. Items must be placed at curbside by Monday, May 11, 2026, for collection during the city cleanup days on May 13–14. Once city trucks have passed through an area, they will not return.

All items must be sorted into separate piles according to the following categories and placed at the street curb by the deadline if they are to be picked up.

A.) Construction Rubble
Boards/wood products, shingles, cement, old furniture, mattresses, and carpet.
No plastic items.

B.) Iron Goods
Iron and scrap materials, and appliances tagged as free of freon.
No appliances containing freon or petroleum fuel tanks.


The following items WILL NOT BE PICKED UP:
1.) Household garbage – paper, cardboard, tin cans, table scrap type waste, glass containers, plastic items (tarps, hoses, toys, buckets, jugs)
2.) Containers with liquid inside
3.) Electronic equipment – televisions, computers, microwaves, etc.
4.) Construction rubble from a site where a contractor is being paid for services or a large building demolition
5.) Trees or branches
6.) Tires
7.) Batteries


Gregory County has designated free-use days for limited items at the landfill to support community cleanup efforts. May 13–14, 2026 are reserved for individual city cleanup days, during which each city will haul collected items to the landfill for city residents.

Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., is reserved for non-commercial Gregory County residents, who may haul their own properly sorted items directly to the landfill for free disposal of eligible materials. All loads must be properly sorted—mixed loads will be rejected. All loads must also be securely tarped; untarped loads will be subject to fines.
