The mission of the CONNECT Task Force is to protect, educate and comfort all community members.

The purpose of CONNECT is to educate the community, to provide resources and to refer those who are in need of assistance.
  • Build capacity among community members to better enable them to care for themselves and each other.
  • Provide safe, supervised, recreational activities for students.
  • Provide monthly educational opportunities for community members which will enhance their understanding of emotional and physical issues.
  • Create library in school and local hospital to ensure community has access to information concerning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with local agencies to ensure goals and activities meet all identified needs.
  • Create a local support group.
  • Provide a resource for the referral and identification of individuals in crisis.
