The City of Gregory has collaborated with Gregory County to reduce costs to have access to an emergency notification system. Through AlertSense, Gregory County is in a territory with Lyman and Tripp Counties, under Winner Dispatch, so alerts can be sent seamlessly throughout the three counties.

AlertSense is used to notify residents of local emergency alerts and community notifications. These alerts range from severe weather notifications to reminders not to park on the street after snow, to messages about the current street projects. Users have the option to select what notifications to receive and how to receive them, including by text, phone, and email.
