Gregory Fire Dept

Supporting our Community

In 2024, the Gregory Volunteer Fire Department responded to 24 emergency calls, including fires and car accidents. A significant portion of these were grass fires, including a mutual aid response in September to a fire north of White River that burned over 15,000 acres. Our department was one of many that assisted in containing the blaze.

Thanks to generous donations from our community, we were able to purchase two essential extrication tools: a Hurst cordless hydraulic cutter and a Hurst cordless hydraulic spreader. These tools, valued at $18,000, allow us to quickly and safely remove trapped victims from vehicles. Our team has been training extensively with these new tools and other equipment to ensure we're prepared when duty calls.

We extend our heartfelt thanks for your donations to the Gregory Volunteer Fire Dept. Thank you for standing with us and for making a tangible difference in ensuring the safety and well-being of our neighbors. We are proud to have such a committed and caring community by our side.

Sincerely,
The Gregory Volunteer Fire Department
