Gregory Municipal Airport
The Gregory Municipal Airport, also known as Flynn Field, honors Lieutenant Colonel John P. "Pat" Flynn for his Marine Corps service, including his brutal captivity as a POW in North Korea.
Gregory Municipal Airport is a public airport, located one mile southeast of Gregory, and is owned and operated by the city. The asphalt runway is 3800 x 60 ft. and lighted. It is equipped with the Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) light system to assist landing.
Gregory Municipal Airport does not have a control tower. Pilots communicate amongst themselves to coordinate landings and takeoffs via the UNICOM frequency of 122.8 MHz. 9D1 SuperAWOS provides essential services to pilots, including weather and traffic advisories, automated greeting and radio check.
The airport offers 24-hour self service of 100 LL and Jet A fuel, accepting Mastercard and Visa. Other services include tie downs, aircraft tug, pilot's lounge, internet access and a courtesy car. Hangar space is available for monthly or daily rental. Call (605) 835-8270 Ext. 3 for assistance.
